After School Tutoring
OPTION 1: SCHOOL TUTORING – ART AND GUITAR LESSONS
Tutoring is an optional service made available through the willingness of our teachers to participate. Tutoring may focus on any academic subject or area of concern.
We ask that teachers refrain from tutoring students that are in their homeroom or current grade level. Tutoring will take place here at the school in the Teacher’s classroom. Sessions will take place between 3:30 and 5:30pm. Sessions will either be for 30 or 60 minutes. The fee for all tutoring will be $30.00 per hour or $15.00 for ½ hour. No more than two students may be tutored during a session. The rate of $30.00 per hour remains the same for either 1 or 2 students. When two students are being tutored, each family will pay $15.00 per hour. The will last for 6 weeks.
At this time only Art, Piano and Guitar Lessons are approved.

OPTION 2: TITLE 1 TUTORING
Title 1 tutoring is a federally funded program that is made available to students who reside in a qualifying public school district and demonstrate an academic need. The schools Title 1 Coordinator will collect assessment data for students in grades K-5 and determine which students may qualify for free tutoring services. These services will take place after school. The Title 1 Coordinator will communicate directly to families who may qualify. Each year a parent meeting is held to discuss details realted to the program. Parents must sign an agreement in order for their child to participate in Title 1 tutoring. Funding for this program comes from the federal government and is free for families who participate.
