FAMILY AND STEWARDSHIP POLICY
In order to qualify for the "Active Parishioner" rate of tuition, families must be Catholic and registered with the Parish, attend Sunday Liturgies here at St. Jude a minimum of 2 Sundays a month, and complete the Stewardship Survey where both spouses must indicate how they will share their time, talent or treasure throughout the upcoming year. Activity will be reviewed after each semester.
If your family meets the income guidelines below, you may be eligible for an SGO or Voucher Scholarship. Your student must also meet one of the 5 eligibility tracks. To find out more about the eligibility tracks, please contact the school office.
Ann Marsicek (firstname.lastname@example.org) is available to help answer questions related to tuition payments, tuition assistance, setting up a FACTS account or making changes to your existing payment plan. Ann is available Monday – Friday by calling the school office or by email.
WHEN WILL THE TUITION RATE BE DETERMINED?
Each year’s tuition rate will be announced in early April. Once the new tuition rate is announced, verification reports will be sent home indicating exactly how your FACTS account is set up. Families will have the opportunity to make changes after reviewing the verification report by contacting Ann Marsicek.
New this year, all existing FACTS accounts will be rolled over for the 2019-20 school year. Instead of setting up a new agreement, the system will roll over your current preferences in order to make payments in the 2019-20 school year. In April, each family will receive a verification report that will show exactly how your account is set up. Families will have the opportunity to make changes after reviewing the verification report by contacting Ann Marsicek. Options for paying tuition include: paying in full by July 10th, making a down payment by July 10th, paying semi-annually, or what is most common - paying over 10 months. All options are available by creating an account in FACTS.
SGO APPLICATIONS AND TUITION ASSISTANCE (Typically for incoming KG families)
SGO Scholarships will be available to Kindergarten and any family who for the first time may meet the income requirements. The process is the same for requesting an SGO Scholarship or Tuition Assistance. Families are asked to complete the Grant and Aid Assessment using the FACTS system. (Link to Grant and Aid Assessment: https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/3D2J0) The due date for requesting an SGO or Tuition Assistance is May 1st.
PAYING TUITION IN FULL
Families that wish to pay in full or make a down payment are asked to use the FACTS system. Families need to create a FACTS account in order to make a onetime payment. You will not be charge by FACTS if you are making a one time payment and use a bank account to fund the payment. Using a credit card is an option – but be aware that you will also be charged a service fee for using a credit card. All one time payments must be made by July 10th.
