Mrs. Jane Keyler is a Resource Teacher for the first grade.  She has been at St. Jude for seven years and was with the Baxter YMCA for twenty years before this.  Mrs. Keyler attended the University of Indianapolis for a degree in Physical Education/Health for K-12.  She has four children and in her free time, she likes baking and decorating cakes, swimming, and collecting lighthouses.  Mrs. Keyler enjoys teaching because she likes "seeing the smile and sense of accomplishment on someone's face when they finally accomplish a new task or skill."

Mrs. Tolle

Mrs. Strange

Mrs. Michele Erla

Mrs. Tina Barnhorst is a Kindergarten Aide in the morning and afternoon.  This is her fourth year as an aide.  She attended the International Business College for a degree in Business.   Mrs. Barnhorst has two children and enjoys spending time with her girls, other family, and friends in any free time.  Mrs. Barnhorst enjoys working at St. Jude because she likes "seeing the children so enthusiastic about learning."

Sister Regina is a Tutor and Substitute for all grades and subjects.  She has been teaching for over forty-six years.  Sister Regina attended Indiana University in Bloomington for a degree in Elementary Education with a special area in English.  She enjoys reading, movies, getting together with friends, and playing games like Boggle with her brother.  Sister Regina enjoys "passing on knowledge to others - to keep the flame lit."

Mr. Larry Johnson is a Resource Teacher for all students in math.  He is in his thirteenth year teaching.  Mr. Johnson attended the General Motors Institute and Purdue for Engineering as well as Butler for Education.  He has eight children and twenty-two grandchildren.  Mr. Johnson enjoys attending grade school and high school sports as well as golf and fishing.  He finds that "students eventually acknowledge work is okay and learning is enjoyable."

"The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you."
