Junior High - Grades 7 and 8

Teachers

Mrs. Debbie Boles teaches Math to students in the Junior High.  She has been teaching over twenty-two years.  Mrs. Boles attended Ball State and Indiana University for a degree in Guidance and Math.  She has two children and a cat.  In her free time, she likes reading, bowling, playing games, and taking vacations.  Mrs. Boles finds that "every day is different with new challenges and rewards."

 

 

Mr. Chris Clark teaches Science to students in the Junior High.  He is in his third year teaching at St. Jude.  Mr. Clark graduated from Franklin College with a degree in Biology.  He has three dachshunds and enjoys reading and gardening in his spare time.  Mr. Clark finds that "helping kids develop to their fullest potentional is very rewarding."

 

Ms. Susan Denzler teaches Language Arts to students in the Junior High.  This is her third year at St. Jude, but she has been teaching for nine years.  Ms. Denzler graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Elementary Education and history concentration.  She enjoys tennis, watching any sports, reading, and spending time with family and friends when she has extra time.  Ms. Denzler likes to show students that "their opinions count and they mean something to this world.  Students can make a difference if they just try."

Mr. Jay Oakley teaches Geography and U.S. History to students in the Junior High.  He has been teaching for eight years.  Mr. Oakley went to Ball State and I.U.P.U.I for a Secondary Education - Social Studies degree.  He has two children and enjoys spending time with them as well as playing sports and watching movies.  Mr. Oakley enjoys teaching because of the "interaction with children."
