Grade 4

Teachers

Ms. Connie Hessler is in her thirty-third year at St. Jude School.  She teaches fourth graders every subject except for science.  Ms. Hessler graduated from Marian College with a degree in Elementary Education.  For hobbies, she enjoys reading, cruising in the summer, and attending Colts games.  Ms. Hessler enjoys teaching because "I find that kids can be so open to new things and willing to try new ideas."

Ms. Donna Ross is also in her thirty-third year at St. Jude School.  She teaches the fourth graders every subject except for English.  Ms. Ross enjoys spending time with family and friends.  She received an Elementary Education degree from Marian College in Indianapolis.  Ms. Ross loves "to see the 'light bulbs' turn on during a lesson for the students."

Grade 5

Teachers:

Mrs. Suzanne Halloran teaches Religion, Social Studies, Spelling, English, and Reading to the fifth graders at St. Jude School.  She has been doing so for over thirty-seven years.  Mrs. Halloran graduated from College of Mount St. Joseph on the Ohio and Indiana Central College (University of Indianapolis) with a degree in Elementary Education.  She has two sons, one granddaughter, and one grandson and enjoys reading, crafts, and travel.  Mrs. Halloran enjoys teaching because "it keeps me young and active and provides me with a sense of accomplishment as I see students progress."

Mrs. Julie Reilly teaches Math, Science, Religion, Reading, and Spelling to the fifth graders at St. Jude School.  She has been at St. Jude for four years after graduating from Marian College with a degree in Elementary Education.  Her free time is spent coaching volleyball, traveling, playing with her dog Bella, and raising her daughter Erin.  Mrs. Reilly enjoys working with young children and love "to watch them accomplish goals and succeed in the classroom."

Grade 6

Teachers:

Mrs. Julie Ross is in her twenty-fourth year at St. Jude School.  She teaches Religion, Math, Science, Reading, and Vocabulary to the sixth grade students.  Mrs. Ross attended Butler University and received a degree in Elementary Education.  She has three daughters and a dog Petesie.  Mrs. Ross enjoys reading, walking, and learning the computer in her free time.  She enjoys "the different challenges each new year brings."

Mrs. Sally Meyer is in her twenty-first year teaching.  She received degrees from Marian College and Butler University for Elementary Education.  Mrs. Meyer has two children along with various pets.  She enjoys music, sports, gardening, and camping in her free time.  Mrs. Meyer enjoys teaching because of "the daily challenges that go along with it."
