Principal

Sister James Michael Kesterson, S.P. is the principal at St. Jude.  She has been teaching for fifty-seven years.  Sister attended St. Mary-of-the-Woods for a Bachelors in Education, Indiana State for a Masters in Education, and Ball State for an administrative license.  She enjoys Notre Dame and Colts football, walking, swimming, traveling, and cooking in her free time.  Sister has been named "Sagamore of the Wabash" by Governor O'Bannon, is being featured in the Indianapolis Women's Magazine, and served as a site visitor to Blue Ribbon Schools for the U.S. Department of Education.  Sister James Michael feels that "one of the greatest enjoyments is working with so many different people, the teahcers, students' parents, and members of our parish community.  Watching the students as they become faith-filled adults, the dedication of our teachers, the cooperation of our parents, and the support of our parish community is one of the greatest blessings of the position."
