Academics

St. Jude Catholic School, in partnership with parents, envisions itself as a catholic institute committed to the formation of Christ-like individuals. The curriculum at St. Jude is designed to develop student's skills and talents to their maximum potential. High academic standards in conjunction with effect teaching are central to the development of these talents. In keeping with the principles of the No Child Left Behind Act, this curriculum is designed to facilitate learning for students of all academic levels. St. Jude is honored to be a multiple recipient of the National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence award.

St. Jude's academic excellence includes:

  • State approved curriculum for grades K - 8
  • School and licensed teachers fully certified by the Indiana Department of Public Instruction
  • State accreditation
  • Computer instruction for grades K - 8
  • Art, music, and physical education programs
  • School library containing over 5000 volumes including a references section
  • High student achievement in local and academic contests
  • National Junior Honor Society
  • Tutoring programs
    • Chapter 1 aid in math and reading
    • Remedial tutoring during school hours
